Is it permissible to masturbate to relieve severe sexual urges that follow menstruation, given the inability to marry?
Masturbation is permissible out of necessity, such as fearing fornication or illness. This is what Ibn Taymiyyah transmitted from a group of Companions and their successors, as well as Ahmad and others. However, sexual conversations are absolutely impermissible.
