Is it permissible to dedicate each room in the house to a specific type of remembrance (Dhikr), such as Tasbeeh (glorification), Istighfar (seeking forgiveness), or Hamd (praise), so that the remembrance in each room is restricted to only one type?

Devoting an act of worship to a specific place or time not mentioned in Sharia (definition) is considered an innovation (bid'ah) and an addition to the religion. It has not been authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) designated a specific dhikr (remembrance) for every place. Bid'ah is an invented method in religion that imitates what is legislated, intended to exaggerate devotion to Allah. It includes adhering to specific forms and manners, or performing specific acts of worship at particular times that have not been prescribed by Sharia. The fundamental principle regarding dhikr and acts of worship is tawqif (restriction to what has been revealed). Therefore, it is not permissible to worship Allah by dedicating a dhikr to a specific time or place unless that has been explicitly mentioned in Sharia.
