Repentance from every sin is obligatory once, and it is the path to success and the love of Allah the Almighty. Its manner is for the servant to say with his tongue and the presence of his heart: "I seek forgiveness from Allah the Almighty and I repent to Him." It is recommended to renew repentance and to do it frequently always.
