The answer

It is not permissible to describe any Muslim with this description. Scholars must be respected, revered, and held in high regard. Insulting and belittling scholars is forbidden, as it diminishes the value of knowledge and its people, encourages the general public to abandon learning, and may even lead them to forsake religion.
