The answer

One must abandon evil deeds and hasten to good ones, and repent of sins, for life is not guaranteed and death can be expected at any moment. Backbiting and idle talk are forbidden, and their prohibition has been indicated by verses from the Holy Quran and the of the Prophet, peace be upon him, as in His Almighty's saying: ﴿And do not backbite each other﴾ [Al-Hujurat: 12], and the about the punishment in the grave for two individuals: one who does not protect himself from urine and another who walks with gossip or backbiting. One must repent to Allah Almighty from backbiting before death, because the rights of people are not forgiven by Allah until their owners are satisfied.
