Is it permissible, Islamically, to perform a cosmetic surgery to remove a burn around the pubic area and pelvis, and a laser procedure to remove scars on the legs, given that the doctors performing these procedures are men, and that leaving the burn causes difficulty in childbirth and poses a health risk?

It is permissible to perform cosmetic surgeries to treat a disease or remove a harmful congenital defect, such as treating burns in the pelvis if they cause pain or illness. This should be done by a female doctor if possible; otherwise, with adherence to Sharia (definition) guidelines. As for cosmetic surgery on the legs, it is permissible to remove unsightly and harmful scars. However, if it is for enhancement and seeking perfection, it is not permissible due to it being an alteration of Allah's creation. Regarding the husband's desire to marry a second wife due to the effect of the burn, there is no sin in it, and the wife should assist him in this, as it contains satisfaction for Allah and for the husband.
