Is it permissible to wear the niqab everywhere except in the examination room when communicating with patients, knowing that the questioner is a dentist currently working in an alternative medicine center?

Scholars have differed on the obligation for a woman to cover her face and hands in front of non-mahram (definition) men. However, they have agreed on the obligation to cover the rest of the body, and to cover the face and hands when there is a fear of temptation (fitna). If a woman is compelled to work and cannot communicate with male patients and treat them except by uncovering her face and hands, then there is no blame upon her for this due to necessity, provided that the necessity is estimated in its proper measure and ceases when the need ceases.
