Economic boycott is an effective weapon that harms the boycotting party. If a country offends the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and does not apologize, the least a Muslim must do is boycott its products. Nevertheless, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, legislated seeking medical treatment, saying: "Seek medical treatment, for Allah has not created a disease without creating a cure for it." If there is no alternative for a specific medication, there is no objection to using it to preserve one's health.
