What is the ruling on using a live frog by spinning it seven times over pustules and then starving it to death for the purpose of healing?

Killing frogs is prohibited, due to the Hadith (definition) in which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade their killing. Therefore, it is not permissible to imprison a frog and deprive it of water until it dies. Furthermore, there is no perceptible connection between killing a frog and healing from pimples. Medicine should be based on what the Shari'a has affirmed, or on what sensation and experience have proven beneficial. One should avoid such actions that are prevalent among the ignorant.
