It is not permissible to deceive the fund to receive a salary from it for someone who is not a member, because its salaries and aid are not due to non-members. As for the ruling on subscribing to it: if it is cooperative, there is no objection. But if it is commercial and invests money in usury and the like, then it is not permissible, due to the presence of (excessive uncertainty) and gambling therein.
