Is it permissible or forbidden to continue receiving the pension in the event that the workplace does not provide insurance and one is not married, and is it permissible to give all the money to God?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
As long as the entity providing the pension stipulates that it will be discontinued upon marriage or obtaining insured employment, and neither of these has occurred, then the pension is considered a right for the questioner. She may continue to receive it and dispose of it as an owner disposes of their property, until she marries or obtains employment that provides worker's insurance, bearing in mind that the permissible insurance is cooperative Islamic insurance.
