All forms of insurance (except cooperative insurance) are forbidden because they involve (excessive uncertainty), jahalah (ignorance), and consuming people's wealth unjustly. It is obligatory to refrain from taking a percentage from it or inviting people to it, and to explain its prohibition to customers with wisdom and good admonition.
