The answer

You are permitted to benefit from the profits you earn through your financial transactions if they are with an Islamic bank that adheres to compliance in its dealings. However, if you are depositing your money in a usurious bank and it gives you usurious interest, this is forbidden. You must withdraw your money and cease dealing with usurious banks, because consuming usury is among the great destructive sins, and Allah has declared war against it, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who gives it, its scribe, and its two witnesses. As for your staying at home because you have not found suitable work, and you have money to spend on yourself and your family, there is no sin upon you in that; however, it is advisable to seek out jobs and work and strive to find them.
