Is it permissible to demand profits in exchange for the company's delay in paying dues, especially since it invests other people's money and generates profits for them?

The employee is only entitled to their due wage for their work. The procrastination of employers in paying what is due, despite their ability to do so, is an injustice, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The procrastination of the rich (in paying debts) is an injustice." The worker must be given their wage immediately upon finishing the work, as stated in the Hadith (definition): "Give the laborer his wage before his sweat dries." Their delay in payment does not permit the employee to demand interest on their wage, as that is considered usury (riba).
