Working in usurious banks is unlawful () because it involves aiding in sin and transgression. The salary earned from such work is unlawful, unless the work has no connection whatsoever to usury or prohibited acts, and does not assist in them, even by writing or carrying a paper. A loan with interest is among the forbidden forms of usury.
