The answer

Teaching banking techniques varies in ruling depending on the students' intention:

If their intention is to gain expertise for working in Islamic banks or legitimate investment fields, there is no harm in teaching them. It is incumbent to instill in them a love for legitimate investment and to warn them against interest-based (usurious) banks. If their intention is to work in interest-based banks, then it is not permissible to teach them, because it constitutes aiding in sin, as Allah says: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty) [Al-Ma'idah:2]. One must abandon work in this field because its earnings are illicit. Whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better, as Allah says: (And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect) [At-:2-3].
