The question

What is the ruling on working as a sales program supervisor for a company that sells food products, where sales representatives issue sales invoices to customers and record cash collections, checks, and bank transfers, knowing that the company deposits these funds in an interest-based bank and deals with interest and usurious deposits, given that the sales supervisor has no relationship with the financial administration that handles banking transactions?

The answer

There is no impediment to a job as a "sales program supervisor only," through which sales invoices are issued to customers and collection is confirmed. It is not affected by the fact that the company deposits its money in a usurious bank, as long as the employee has no connection to that; as Allah Almighty says: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another." What is considered is that the employee does not directly engage in what is unlawful or assist in it with unlawful assistance. As for unintentional assistance, there is no sin in it.
