The answer

If the salary is an inheritance from the father, his debt must be paid from it before distributing it to the heirs. If it is a gift to the father, it is not permissible to take anything from it to pay off the father's debt. A child is not entitled to assistance from the funds of the poor and needy if his mother is able to spend on him or if he has what suffices him, and the association's conditions must be adhered to. It is permissible to trade with a child's money for his benefit, but he must bear the profit and loss; because the Mudarib (investor) does not bear the loss except through negligence or transgression.
