If the deceased left no heirs other than the aforementioned sons and daughters, then the entire inheritance belongs to his four sons and four daughters by way of ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. The grandchildren (sons of the son or sons of the son's son) receive nothing because the son excludes them. The inheritance is divided among them into twelve shares: two shares for each son and one share for each daughter. The inherited property can be divided by selling it and distributing its price, or by renting it out and distributing its rent, or by rotating its occupancy according to the shares, even if there is some disadvantage to some mature, sane, and consenting adults.
