Is it permissible to deliberately delay prayer for an hour after the the call to prayer (Adhan) due to sleep?

Performing the prayer at the beginning of its prescribed time is better, and it is permissible to delay it until the end of its time if there is a need, unless delaying it would cause a man to miss the virtue of congregational prayer, in which case it is forbidden, because congregational prayer is obligatory for men.
