What is the ruling on performing Tarawih prayers in a zawiya instead of a mosque, and is it permissible for someone to join them?

Tarawih prayer is valid in the mosque or at home, and whoever performs it will receive the reward of Qiyam (definition). It is preferable to pray it in congregation at the mosque with the Imam, if there is no impediment, following the example of the Companions whom Omar gathered behind a single Imam, and due to the Prophet's saying: "Whoever stands with the Imam until he departs, it will be recorded for him as spending the night in prayer."
