Are the prayers that were performed in clothes acquired from ill-gotten gains valid and acceptable?

Hacking accounts and defrauding others of their money are forbidden in Islamic law. One must repent and return the money to its owners, or donate it on their behalf with a guarantee of repayment. As for praying in clothes bought with stolen money, it is valid according to the majority of scholars, though sinful, because the sin relates to the acquisition, not the prayer itself. Similarly, the validity of prayers performed in forbidden places or with unlawful money is affirmed by the majority of scholars, despite the sin, unlike the Hanbalis. As for the acceptance of prayers, that is up to Allah. The expiation for using unlawful money for transportation and going to school is repentance and restoring rights. The unlawfulness of the money has no bearing on the studies or the certificate if they were obtained through legitimate means.
