There is no harm in performing the five prayers with a single ablution (wudu'), nor in drying the limbs immediately after ablution or after washing each limb, provided that the interval is not so long as to disrupt the sequence (muwalat). It is advisable to avoid drying during ablution as it is often unnecessary. Warm water can be used to alleviate the effect of cold water.
