Is it permissible in congregational prayer to abandon Mubah (permissible) matters over which there is a dispute within the Maliki school of thought, in order to avoid disagreement within the congregation and drawing attention?

If some members of the community deviate from the prevalent madhhab (definition) in matters where evidence has proven otherwise, they are not to be blamed. Rather, those who criticize them are to be blamed, for the truth is more deserving of adherence. The imams have warned against fanaticism towards their sayings if they contradict the Sunnah (definition). Examples of this include: placing the right hand over the left in prayer, raising the hands when standing from the second rak'ah, and audibly saying "Ameen" in loud prayers. These are established Sunnahs that should not be abandoned, but abandoning them does not affect the validity of the prayer.
