The question

Is it permissible to say "Subhan Allah" (glory be to Allah), "Alhamdulillah" (praise be to Allah), and "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the greatest) ten times each after the Dhuhr, Asr, and Isha prayers, instead of the customary formula (33 tasbihs, 33 tahmids, 34 takbirs)?

The answer

It is legislated to remember Allah after the obligatory prayers with multiple formulas:

1. Tasbih (Subhanallah - Glory be to Allah), Tahmid (Alhamdulillah - Praise be to Allah), and Takbir (Allahu Akbar - Allah is the Greatest) – each 33 times, completing the hundred with "La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ala kulli shayin qadeer" (There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things competent).

2. Or Tasbih, Tahmid, and Takbir (a total of 33 times), repeating them, and completing the hundred with Tahlil (La ilaha illa Allah) as in the first formula.

3. Tasbih and Tahmid (each 33 times), and Takbir (34 times), totaling one hundred.

4. Tasbih, Tahmid, Takbir, and Tahlil (each 25 times), totaling one hundred.

5. Tasbih, Tahmid, and Takbir (each 10 times), totaling thirty, which equals one hundred and fifty by the tongue and one thousand five hundred on the scale of deeds.

It is best to vary between these formulas that are mentioned in the .
