What is the ruling on drops of mathy (pre-ejaculatory fluid) that are discharged without arousal and at unknown times, and is it permissible to adopt the Maliki school of thought by performing wudu for each prayer without washing the clothes?

If pre-seminal fluid (madhy) is discharged daily, even if only once, it is considered a habitual impurity (hadath (definition) mustankah) according to the Maliki school. It is not obligatory to wash it from the body or clothing, and it is permissible to follow this opinion. However, if its discharge is intermittent—sometimes stopping and sometimes occurring—then, according to some scholars, it takes the ruling of perpetual impurity (salasil). In this case, you should perform istinja (definition) (washing the private parts), use a protective barrier, and perform ablution (wudu) for each prayer after its time has begun. Its discharge during prayer does not affect the validity of the prayer. Changing clothes and washing the lower part of the body multiple times a day is not legislated; rather, it is a blameworthy form of excessive scrupulosity (waswasah).
