What is the ruling on one who only prays Friday prayer, and is he considered a disbeliever? And what is Ibn Taymiyyah's view on that? And what is the ruling on one who advises to abandon a sin while he himself commits it? And is letting one's gaze wander to what Allah has forbidden considered a major sin?

"Whoever prays the five daily prayers but misses Jumu'ah (Friday prayer), his ruling is found in Fatwas no. 38907 and no. 47226. As for whoever only prays Jumu'ah and does not pray other prayers, he is considered to have abandoned prayer, and his ruling is in Fatwa (definition) no. 38392. Whoever forbids people from evil but does not refrain from it himself has done well from the perspective of fulfilling the duty of enjoining good and forbidding evil; the responsibility of enjoining good and forbidding evil does not fall away due to one's failure to obey commands and avoid prohibitions. He must strive against himself to act upon what he preaches and to distance himself from what he forbids. He should seek assistance in this by frequently reading about encouragement and deterrence, accompanying righteous people, listening to the Quran and beneficial tapes, connecting with mosques and circles of knowledge, staying away from environments of vice, and filling his time and energy with beneficial programs such as memorizing the Quran and Hadith (definition), learning the rulings of the religion, and whatever is available of supporting sciences and important languages, as well as sports and serving Muslims."
