The feeling of gas escaping, prolonged stays in the restroom, and frequent doubts about recitation and repeating Al-Fatihah, are all whisperings () from Satan. One must turn away from them and not pay them any attention, as this opens doors to evil and causes hardship, and Islam alleviates hardship and difficulty. Moderation in ritual purification (') and not over-scrutinizing it, and adhering to prayer and recitation in a normal manner, is the cure. Frequent doubts hold no validity.
