What is the ruling on the prayer of one who suffers from gas that she feels exiting during prayer without sound or smell, and she doubts whether it is real or a whisper from Satan, which forces her to repeat the prayer repeatedly, knowing that she also suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder regarding the recitation of Al-Fatiha?

The feeling of gas escaping, prolonged stays in the restroom, and frequent doubts about recitation and repeating Al-Fatihah, are all whisperings (waswas) from Satan. One must turn away from them and not pay them any attention, as this opens doors to evil and causes hardship, and Islam alleviates hardship and difficulty. Moderation in ritual purification (istinja (definition)') and not over-scrutinizing it, and adhering to prayer and recitation in a normal manner, is the cure. Frequent doubts hold no validity.
