What is the ruling on delaying the Friday prayer past its appointed time in order to attend classes, knowing that not attending classes exposes the student to accountability?

Missing Friday prayer without a legitimate Shar'i excuse is a grave sin. Severe warnings for those who do so have been authentically reported in Sahih (definition) Muslim. Therefore, one must safeguard it and be keen to attend it. Fear of accountability or being late for class does not permit abandoning Jumu'ah. Rather, it is permissible to miss it only for one who fears demonstrable harm to themselves, their family, or their wealth.
