Does abandoning the 'Isha prayer invalidate or render unacceptable the Fajr prayer?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
Whoever intentionally abandons the Isha prayer until its time has expired has committed a clear sin, and upon him are repentance and maintaining the prayers. The majority of scholars are of the opinion that it is obligatory to make up the prayer intentionally missed, and this is more cautious. There is no connection between the Isha prayer and the Fajr prayer, but he must make up the Isha prayer and then perform Fajr, unless the time for the current prayer is short, in which case he should prioritize it.
