Abandoning prayer is one of the greatest sins after polytheism, and it may even amount to disbelief. Your sister must sincerely repent, commit to prayer, and make up for the prayers she missed, for making up missed prayers is obligatory according to the majority of scholars, and nothing can take their place, such as the Salat al-Tasabih (Prayer of Glorification).
