Is a make-up (qada’) required for someone who, as a child, swore to observe prayer but failed to do so, and then became regular in prayer after reaching puberty?

Prayer is the second pillar of Islam, and abandoning it puts one in grave danger. Whoever swears upon the Mus'haf to commit to it is not permitted to break their oath. Should they break it, they must repent, make up the missed prayers, and offer expiation.
