Is it obligatory for someone who was unconscious for three days due to anesthesia to make up the missed prayers?

If the period of unconsciousness is three days or less, one must make up the prayers, by analogy with a sleeping person. However, if the period exceeds that, one is not required to make them up, by analogy with an insane person.
