A Muslim must gain deep understanding in matters of his religion to worship Allah with insight, especially concerning prayer, which is the second pillar of Islam. If you know that the prayers you performed during a specific period were invalid due to an action that nullifies them, then you are obligated to repeat all of them, as your duty has not been discharged.
