The answer

Prayer is the pillar of faith; it is not waived for a responsible individual as long as their intellect is sound, and abandoning it is among the greatest sins. Urinary incontinence is not an excuse to abandon prayer. Rather, one must protect oneself after washing the affected area, perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, and pray both the obligatory and supererogatory prayers. The son must strive to advise his mother by explaining the danger of abandoning prayer and that religion is ease. He should explain to her how to purify herself and perform ablution, and that she should make up the prayers she missed to the best of her ability. She may make up more than one missed prayer with a single ablution, as long as the time for the prayer for which she performed ablution has not elapsed.
