Is it possible to repeat the eclipse prayer after realizing one raka'ah with the Imam and Salaming out of ignorance, without making up the missed raka'ah?

If someone prays one raka'ah of the eclipse prayer without the second, and remembers the mistake before the eclipse ends, they should pray another raka'ah and perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud (definition) al-sahw). If a long time has passed, they should repeat the prayer. However, if they remember after the eclipse has ended, they do not need to make it up, because it is a prayer tied to a specific cause that ceases to exist when that cause passes. Therefore, it is not prescribed after the eclipse has ended, similar to other non-timelimitied supererogatory prayers.
