The answer

Prayer is the pillar of faith, and neglecting it is a grave sin. However, whoever repents and turns to Allah is not obligated to make up for the prayers they missed. Rather, they should strive to perform the obligatory prayers, increase in supererogatory prayers, hasten to do good deeds, and persistently engage in remembrance and seeking forgiveness; for Allah Almighty says: "But indeed, I am the All-Forgiving to whoever repents, believes, and does righteousness, and then is guided." [Taha: 82]. The obligatory prayers are five: Dhuhr (Noon) four rak'ahs, Asr (Afternoon) four rak'ahs, Maghrib (Sunset) three rak'ahs, Isha (Night) four rak'ahs, and Fajr (Dawn) two rak'ahs.
