What is the ruling concerning someone who missed the Fajr prayer and woke up after sunrise, then delayed its make-up for a long time due to worldly matters before finally making it up?

Scholars have differed regarding the ruling on making up missed prayers: whether it is obligatory to make them up immediately or at one's leisure. The preponderant view among the majority of scholars is that making up a missed prayer is obligatory immediately, unless doing so would cause harm to the body due to hardship, illness, or exhaustion. In such a case, the immediacy is lifted until one is able to do so without harm. The evidence for this is the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers it," and a command implies obligation.
