Does hesitation in the intention invalidate the third prayer if it is performed after finishing the second prayer?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
Hesitation in performing the prayer before commencing it does not affect its validity. Rather, the hesitation that invalidates the prayer, according to some scholars, is that which occurs during the prayer. So, if you began the third prayer with a firm intention and did not interrupt it or hesitate during it, then your prayer is valid.
