Is it necessary, after the tasleem from prayer and before the prostration of forgetfulness, to recite the tashahhud and tasleem again?

If one prostrates for forgetfulness ( al-sahw) after the salām, he must offer the salām again. He is not required to recite the again. This is based on the narrations reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regarding this matter.
