The two taslims after the prostration of forgetfulness ( al-sahw) that occurs after the salutation () are obligatory. As for the , it is recommended according to Imam Ahmad if the prostration of forgetfulness is after the salutation. If one prostrates and then salutes without reciting the tashahhud, there is no blame upon him.
