The question

Is it permissible to pray Dhuhr before its time begins (12:49), given that the available break time is from 12:00 to 12:30, or is it permissible to combine it with Asr prayer, which begins at 2:40, knowing that the second break is after 3:00?

The answer

Residing in lands of disbelief is conditional upon the resident's safety concerning himself and his wealth, and his ability to fully observe the rituals of his religion. If he is unable to perform prayers at their prescribed times, he must move to a place where he can do so, or seek another job that allows him to perform prayers on time. If he is compelled to remain in his current job, it is permissible for him to combine prayers, based on the statement of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah regarding the permissibility of combining prayers due to hardship and occupation.
