It is recommended to recite Surat Al- and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas) three times in the morning and evening, and before sleep. Surat Al-Kafiroon is recommended before sleep. Ayatul-Kursi is to be recited before sleep and after every obligatory prayer. The last two verses of Surat Al-Baqarah are to be recited at night. It is also recommended to recite the concluding verses of Surat Aal-Imran upon waking up at night, and Surat Az-Zumar, Al-Isra, Al-Baqarah, Al-Mulk, and As-Sajdah at night. Furthermore, it is recommended to recite Surat Al-Kahf on the night and day of Friday.
