The question

What is the ruling on the continued dripping of urine after urination, and how can one perform a valid prayer and maintain the purity of clothes when this happens repeatedly? And is the prayer completed if urine drips during it? And is it permissible to complete the rest of the day's prayers with the same clothes? Is there a solution to prevent the repeated dripping of urine after urination? And what does it mean to perform ablution for prayer after its time has begun and before its time has ended?

The answer

If a person does not find enough time for purification and prayer, then he is afflicted with urinary incontinence. He must protect himself by tightly binding a cloth to prevent the spread of impurity, and perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, and pray with that ablution both the obligatory and supererogatory prayers. What exits after that does not harm him, and he is not required to re-bind the cloth with every ablution if he did not initially neglect the binding.

However, if he does find sufficient time, he must wait for that time to pray, and purify his clothes from impurity as much as possible. What he is unable to purify is excused.

The ablution of a person with perpetual impurity is performed after the prayer time has begun, and what exits from him after that does not harm him. His ablution remains valid until the time for that prayer expires, as it becomes null according to those who hold that the expiration of time nullifies the ablution of a person with incontinence.
