The answer

Seeing the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a dream is possible for every Muslim, and it is true if the dreamer sees him in his [true] form, for Satan cannot take his likeness. However, whatever is heard in the dream must be presented to the ; what conforms to it is accepted, otherwise it is rejected. An example of this is the story of the man who saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a dream, and he commanded him to dig in a certain place to find treasure (rikaz). Some scholars issued a that the one-fifth (khums) was not obligatory, while Al-Izz ibn Abd al-Salam issued a fatwa that it was obligatory, considering that a dream of the Prophet does not exceed the status of a soundly authenticated , and it was contradicted by what is more authentic than it, which is the hadith: "On rikaz, one-fifth is due."
