What should a worshipper do if two oversights occur in a single prayer, one of which necessitates prostration of forgetfulness before the salutation and the other after the salutation? And should he perform four prostrations or only two if two things occur that necessitate prostration of forgetfulness after the salutation?

Whoever makes a mistake in their prayer by adding something that necessitates a post-prostration (sujud (definition) ba'di) or omitting something that necessitates a pre-prostration (sujud Qabli), then one prostration suffices for them. If one prostrates the former in place of the latter, it is permissible. If multiple things necessitate prostration, then one prostration (two prostrations) suffices for all of them.
