When is it permissible for the worshipper to move after the Tasleem in congregational prayer, is it before the Imam turns around or after?

It is permissible for the ma'mum (follower in prayer) to depart as soon as the imam (prayer leader) says the taslim (definition) (salutation), whether the imam turns around, remains in his place, or stands up. This is supported by the hadith (definition) of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that women used to stand up when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished his taslim. However, it is preferable for the ma'mum to remain until the imam turns to face the ma'mumin, or to stand up after the imam stands up, due to the possibility that the imam might perform a sajdat as-sahw (prostration of forgetfulness) after the taslim. As for the prohibition of departing before the imam mentioned in the hadith of Anas, what is meant is the salam (salutation), not departing from the place.
