Does the presence of semen on clothes and performing ghusl after Dhuhr prayer affect the validity of the fast in Ramadan?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
Wet dreams do not invalidate fasting. The emission of semen during sleep does not break the fast. However, one must perform (ritual bath) from major ritual impurity before praying. If a person prays while in a state of major ritual impurity, he must make up that prayer.
