Is a girl's fast valid despite not performing ghusl after a clear white fluid was discharged following a single instance of masturbation?

Masturbation is forbidden (haram (definition)). If the fluid discharged is semen, then a ritual bath (ghusl (definition)) is obligatory. A woman's semen is recognized by the smell of palm spathe, the pleasure of its emission, and the subsequent subsiding of desire. As for madhy (pre-seminal fluid), it is a thin, white fluid that is discharged during arousal without ejaculation, and it is not followed by a subsiding of desire. When in doubt between semen and madhy, a person, according to the Shafi'i school, has the option to consider it semen and perform ghusl, or madhy, in which case ghusl is not required. This is the more preponderant view. If it is indeed semen, all prayers performed before the ghusl must be made up. This is the preponderant view according to the majority of scholars. As for fasting, it remains valid in all cases.
