Is it permissible for a menstruating female teacher or student to touch and read the Mushaf out of necessity if she is also in a state of major ritual impurity (junub)?

Those who permit a menstruating woman to touch the Quran are the Malikis, if the touching is for the purpose of teaching or learning, and whether she is also in a state of ritual impurity (janabah (definition)) or not, because the ruling here is for menstruation. The difference between a menstruating woman and a person in a state of janabah is that the latter can remove the impediment by ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) or tayammum (definition) (dry ablution), whereas a menstruating woman cannot. If her menstruation ceases, she is then prohibited from touching the Quran. A woman in postpartum bleeding (nifas (definition)) is similar to her in all of these rulings.
